Do Soulbinds still work in Dragonflight?
The release of the Dragonflight pre-patch has raised many questions about the functionality of various WoW systems, including the highly-anticipated Soulbind system. In this article, we will delve into the answers provided by WoW dev teams and community forums.
Covenants – Abilities, Soulbinds and Conduits still work, but only within Shadowlands content
To put your mind at ease, Covenants, Soulbinds, and Conduits will continue to function within Shadowlands zones and content. But, they will only work within these areas. Players who venture outside of Shadowlands zones will find their Soulbinds, Abilities, and Conduits rendered useless.
Zones where Soulbinds and Covenants will function
---
Shadowlands zones and raids
Not within zones and raids outside of Shadowlands
How do you access Soulbinds?
In Shadowlands, Soulbinds can be accessed from the Forge of Bonds within your Covenant Sanctum. You can choose three Soulbinds for your Covenant, but only have one active at a time.
Can you use Soulbinds on Alts?
Unfortunately, there is no way to unlock Soulbinds on Alternate characters. However, players can join the same Covenant on an Alt, complete the necessary quests, and automatically unlock their second and third Soulbinds.
