Feeding Truly Precious Bait is an exciting moment in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It’s a crucial part of the game’s storytelling, and it unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for your character. The Feeding Grounds

After you feed the Truly Precious Bait, you need to head to the Feeding Grounds, a new area that will unlock for you. You’ll find the Feeding Grounds by following a straightforward path from the Bell Tomb, where you feed the bait. The road takes you through a quiet glade, and then you’ll arrive at the bell-tolling area with a new, eerie environment. The Feeding Grounds are filled with Great Serpents, aggressive foes that will test your combat skills.

Getting to the Bell

Here, you’ll find Puppeteer Urugu’s Bell, which tolls once you’ve entered the area. Ring the bell to summon the Great Carp, a towering enemy that will appear above you. The Great Carp has two variants: an underwater and an above-ground fight. You’ll know the difference by the fight animation.

What about Precious Bait and Truly Precious Bait?

You can now trade the Precious Bait and Truly Precious Bait with the remaining Attendant of the Divine Carp, who will still remain at the Bell Toll site. Precious Bait will award 4 Treasure Carp Scales, while Truly Precious Bait will give you another opportunity to acquire 7 more Treasure Carp Scales, for a total of 11. You may exchange either bait for carp, depending on your requirements and goals.

Catching the Carp

Both precursors will transform into fish once you’ve dealt them the final blow in each battle. The choice will be yours: proceed through the game with whatever result you prefer. Since they have different outcomes and fish variants, you won’t lose any items but get the Treasure Carp Scales you need.
