What is the Max Rarity in MHR?

In the world of Monster Hunter Rise, rarity is a crucial aspect of the game that determines the strength and effectiveness of weapons and armor. But what is the maximum rarity that players can achieve in the game?

Direct Answer:

According to various sources, including GameFAQs and Reddit, the maximum rarity in Monster Hunter Rise is Rarity 7. This is confirmed by multiple players who have reached the highest ranks in the game.

How to Get Rarity 7 Weapons:

To get Rarity 7 weapons, players need to reach HR7 and defeat Narwa the Allmother. This will unlock most of the Rarity 7 weapons. Additionally, at HR50, players will unlock All Mother Narwa, which will unlock the remaining Rarity 7 weapons.

Rarity 10 Weapons:

However, there is a new development in the game’s latest expansion, Sunbreak. Rarity 10 weapons have been introduced, which are even more powerful than Rarity 7 weapons. To get Rarity 10 weapons, players need to progress through the main scenario of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak and defeat MHR Rank 5 boss Elder Dragon Gaismagorm at least once.

Max Rank in MHR:

The maximum rank in Monster Hunter Rise is HR 999, which was raised from the previous cap of HR 100 after the April 2021 2.0 update. Players can progress through ranks by earning Hunter Rank points.
