Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry’s offseason training is no joke. NFL stars frequently share workout clips that leave you gaping. The session consisted of repetitive low-burst work showing off his impressive power. He also practiced his footwork as hard as you’d expect. He goes on to explain that he hits the Sanders Fit gym twice a day—one at 8:30 a.m. and another at 4:30 p.m.—to wait for the season to come.
“The 2021 season is great,” he said. “I do it twice a day, every day. Having the seasons in mind while you’re exercising. You want to be the best player you can. That’s all I want to do Just go out there and say it straight out. You have to react quickly while running back. The hole may be there then it can turn off. You know you have a defender running in quickly. You are unconventional, you have to be responsive.”
