Can Paladins use bows in classic WoW?
Summary
In classic WoW, Paladins cannot equip Ranged Weapons, which includes bows, crossbows, guns, wands, and thrown weapons. However, there is more to it.
Ranged Weapon Inability
Paladins can wear cloth, leather, mail, or plate armor, and can use one-handed, main-hand, or two-handed swords, axes, maces, and polearms. They also cannot dual-wield, use daggers, or fist weapons.
Restrictions on Weapon Usage
Only certain classes and race combinations can learn to use certain weapons in WoW classic. For example, Hunter characters can start out with bow and learn from NPCs.
Learning Ranged Weapons
NWC, Night Elf Hunter is taught by the Ranger Zudjati, Durotar. He provides 1,500 HP as a starting bonus when completed.
