Can you Change Lydia’s Armor in Skyrim?
In the world of Skyrim, Lydia is often considered one of the greatest companions you can have, with her unwavering loyalty and impressive combat abilities. However, as good as she is, the default armor she wears in the game can be pretty disappointing. So, the big question is: can you change Lydia’s armor in Skyrim?
Yes, You Can!
By using the console command "removeallitems," you can remove all items from Lydia’s inventory. This includes her default armor, which means you’ll have the freedom to swap it out for something entirely new. To do so, simply follow these simple steps:
- Enter the console command "tc" to bring up the console.
- Type " Lydia " to select Lydia as the target.
- Key in "removeallitems" and press "enter".
- Locate any armor you want to change Lydia into and use "equipitem" or "additem" to put it on.
- Save your character and exit the console menu.
How to Access the Console
If you’re new to using consoles in Skyrim, here are the steps to access and set one up on the 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game:
- XBox 360: Press
~(tilde) on your keyboard. This should bring up a small window with a mouse cursor. You can scroll through the console options at the top of the menu and type in commands without having to use the touchscreen. - Playstation 3: Press
