Do any Elves Worship Talos?
Talos, the god of heroes, strength, and courage, is a prominent figure in Elder Scrolls lore. However, there has been a question on whether elves in the Elder Scrolls universe worship Talos. In this article, we will explore this topic and provide answers based on information from various sources.
The Nords’ Perspective
To understand the relationship between elves and Talos, we need to start by looking at the Nords and their worship of Talos. The Nords, who hail from Skyrim, have a strong cultural association with Talos, as is evident from the many statues of the god in the capital city of Solitude. Talos is revered as a symbol of their ancient history and culture. Therefore, if we look at the worship patterns of the Nords, we should expect that the elves of Skyrim do not worship Talos. Bosmers: The Nords don’t worship Talos as elven deities in there, and they do worship as separate deities with individual names and histories. The elves which are the Wood Elves do venerate the gods Azura and Anu.
The idea of elves worshipping Talos is largely associated with the Nord tradition within the Elder Scrolls world, rather than a general elven deity.
