But, What Makes ARAM Rerolls So Different?

Well, my friend, every ARAM game offers approximately 40 champions, where you’re randomly selected after each team’s 50% marker. Yes! You’re right, for players at tier I – with as few champions as possible unlocked – you can go through at least 27 champions (27 out of 40), thanks to our trusty game’s unique champion rotation pattern. Each champion in their respective position is placed around the entire pool.

If you were to continue our example: 1* and 2 players will encounter 20 total champions on average; these 10 champions have equal chances for each 18 champions selected. There must be one champion not encountered, hence the difference will be roughly 22 instead! A crucial point when considering champion performance and strategic planning in different roles – this unique method of handling champion rotations really does work!
