This means you can access your entire game library on Steam, allowing you to play your desired games on other devices connected to the same network. Provided your PC meets the technical requirements for Steam Link operation, you can stream Steam games on various devices, be it tablets, smartphones, or TVs.
Conditions for Streaming
To leverage Steam Link, your Windows PC must meet the minimum system requirements:
- PC running Windows 7 or newer, Mac OS X 10.10 or newer, SteamOS or Linux Ubuntu 12.04 or newer
- Home network connectivity to the Steam Link and host PC
- Wired network strong recommended for a seamless user experience
Non-Steam Games on Steam
Steam allows users to download and play non-Steam games through its client platform. On the Desktop, go to the Steam client, and click the add a game button in the lower left corner, and then click ‘add a Non-Steam game”. You can further select the application you would like to install from this list, and it will show up in the Dek UI library under the Non-Steam tab.
