How do I Start a Social Link with Kanji?
If you’re looking to build a strong bond with Kanji in Persona 4 Golden, you’ve come to the right place. Unfortunately, Kanji’s link is not activated automatically like some other party member social links. Instead, you’ll have to take a few specific actions to get started. Requirements for Starting Kanji’s Social Link
To kick off Kanji’s link, you’ll need to meet the following prerequisites:
- June 9th or later: Ensure that you’ve advanced through the story to the end of June. You cannot start Kanji’s social link before this date.
- Visit the girls at the middle staircase at the 2F of the Leaning Building: Head to the school on the 2F level and speak to one of the female students waiting in the middle staircase. Her conversation will give you context about Kanji being threatened by someone.
- Find Kanji and approach him: After completing the above step, leave the school and visit Kanji at the Practice Building on the 1F. His initial reluctance to engage can be overcome by showing friendship and understanding.
Social Link Ranks
Social links in Persona 4 Golden are categorized into rank levels, with rank one being the initial conversation that starts the link. Your goal is to develop close relationships with Kanji to increase his social link levels. The process remains the same as before each time you upgrade a Social Link rank:
