How to Reach B1 Inside the DEKU Tree?
The DEKU tree in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a fascinating environment that holds many secrets and challenges. Getting to B1 inside the DEKU tree requires some exploration and strategy, as it is not immediately accessible. In this article, we will guide you step-by-step on how to reach B1 in the DEKU tree.
Prepare for the Journey
Before proceeding, make sure you have the required items and skills:
- Warp Song: You need the Warp Song to access the DEKU tree. You can obtain the warp song by playing the song of passage in the Temple of Time in front of the pedestal.
- Light Source: You will need a light source (e.g., Deku Light) to illuminate the dark areas.
Step 1: Reach the Inside of the DEKU Tree
To gain access to the inside of the DEKU tree, you need to push the door open. To push the door open, you need to use either the Deku Stick or the boomerang to break the web that hangs from the ceiling. Once the web breaks, you can push the door open and step inside.
Step 2: Find the Exit to B1
Once inside the DEKU tree, make your way down the stairs and follow the passageway until you reach a series of platforms. To reach the second floor, you need to use the Bullet Bag to shoot Deku seeds in the correct sequence. These Deku seeds will create temporary platforms that will allow you to advance.
Step 3: Push the Block into the Water
Descend to the lower level and observe the water below. You see a block floating on the water with a Deku Stick flame on top. Use the boomerang to push the block into the water below. This will create a temporary solution that will allow you to access the next platform.
Step 4: Light up the Deku Stick
Stand on the newly created platform and follow the passageway until you come across a torch. Light your Deku Stick on the torch using the flame. Holding the lit Deku Stick out, you can now roll over a web that blocks your path.
Reach B1
With the web cleared out, you can now fall down to B1 within the DEKU tree. Land safely on the platform below, as there is no way to climb down from this point. You have now successfully reached the end of the journey and can explore what lies within B1. Be cautious, as this area will most likely contain enemies and challenges!
