Giving a player a crown in ESO, or simply put, purchasing crowns for another account, is not a feature currently supported by the Elder Scrolls Online. The main reason behind this is ESO’s no resale or gift policy, as stated by Bethesda Softworks, the developers of ESO. According to the FAQ page on help.bethesda.net, this policy was put in place to protect players from illicit activities and maintain the balance of in-game economies.
How do you know if the no resale policy applies to you?
