How Much Damage Does Hunter’s Mark Do?
In the new Updated Ancient (UA) content for Hunter’s Mark, several changes have been implemented. The spell has now changed, and the information previously known about its effects no longer applies.
Initial Changes to Hunter’s Mark
Before understanding how much damage Hunter’s Mark does, let us analyze the initial changes implemented by the UA content:
Cast using a 1st or 2nd level spell slot, it does 1d6 force damage once per turn
Cast using 3rd or 4th level, the spell slot increases to 2d6 force damage once per turn
Cast using 5th level or higher spell slots, it increases to 3d6 force damage once per turn
So, depending on the caster’s spell slot, the spell Hunter’s Mark damages up to 3 times (or 9 possible total force damage with higher levels).
