The Call of Duty series has a reputation for delivering fast-paced first-person shooter action, engaging multiplayer modes, and thrill-packed Zombie experiences. For fans of the franchise, the Zombie mode is one of the most anticipated parts of any new Call of Duty installment. In recent years, the series has seen significant changes in Zombie gameplay and game modes.

Introduction

Call of Duty WWII is the thirteenth main installment of the Call of Duty franchise, published by Activision. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, the title is known for its revamped multiplayer and co-op zombie modes, "Nazi Zombies." In Nazi Zombies, two players can play the game cooperatively, joining forces to survive against undead hordes in a mission to take down a seemingly insurmountable enemy threat.

Multiplayer Experience

To understand the possibility of a split-screen experience in Zombie mode, we must first familiarize ourselves with the main multiplayer game modes. Activision designed Call of Duty WWII Multiplayer to run smoothly and seamlessly, integrating all modes, except for local co-op mode, as a single menu.

Local Co-op Zombies Mode

A separate local co-op option is available only for Zombie mode, while the regular multiplayer modes must be played online. Within the Zombies mode, gamers can connect up to four players together online, joining forces against hordes of undead creatures.
