The Elden Beast, known as one of the toughest endgame bosses in Elden Ring, has been the topic of many players’ discussions. As one of the latest additions to the FromSoftware-developed Dark Souls series, some players may be wondering what exactly stands in their way to defeat such a formidable opponent. Among one of the crucial elements is answering the question, is Elded Beast immune to blood loss effects?

What are the Current Strategies?

At launch, many players used to focus more on building strategies that exploit blood-building mechanics to weaken enemies and avoid taking significant damage. For various reasons, players tend to create as much damage as possible before jumping into intense fights.

Recent updates, patch notes revealed that blood effects (more specifically, bleeding, burning & poison) were applied incorrectly regarding the Elden Ring combat systems interactions. Specifically, bleeding now acts as it’s meant:

• "Infinite Blood Hunger" (perk or Ashen Flare bonus which increases blood damage when using "Blood Magic")

Here come the new changes regarding Damage Over Time for those two mechanics!

What was originally thought of being too efficient for opponents can still influence the effectiveness of players who decide to focus on pure build approaches involving Physical/Buff abilities.

So we got one more patch on which developers made another balance changes like more balance adjustment & the ability to adjust specific abilities of their characters for some groups, and we must make another decision.
