What is Breathing Spell (D&D)?

Dungeons and Dragons, abbreviated as D&D, is a tabletop role-playing game where players create fictional characters and engage in storytelling with others. The game requires teamwork, imagination, and, most importantly, patience and focus. A crucial aspect of this game is the mechanics behind character creation, ability calculations, and combat rules.

In the midst of the exhilarating journey, a breathing spell arises; it’s a state in which a character is seized by anxiety, resulting in them forgetting to breathe while immersed in the gameplay, usually while rolling for the first time. It appears that their breathing mechanism and body, in that peculiar state of mind, come to a halt for what feels like an eternity.

What causes this breathing spell?

Before this moment becomes a routine element of D&D gameplay (pun intended), there need to be some key background details.

Some scenarios, especially those which generate the need for rolling large dice for combat purposes are critical as any experienced DM (Dungeon Master) will assure their group with a few hours into this adventure will encounter situations such as "what to save, who saved it when, from any specific condition" so I hope our group keeps tabs of things.
This spell’s source is derived both from individual and game-mechanic factors that tend to accumulate and sometimes unexpectedly release all at once under a state of sheer unbridled excitement that these two characters are engaged; an exhilarating encounter – like finding a high-tier magic items or finding.
