What is the easiest enemy in Dark Souls?

The Easiest Enemy in Dark Souls: Breaking it Down

As many would say, Pinwheel, also known as Pinwheel the Pursuer, is the most debated and possibly the most underestimated enemy in the dark universe of Dark Souls. Standing tall at around 13,000 units of mass and having the ability to create massive earthquakes, most players would deem him unwinnable, but believe it or not, his mechanics and vulnerabilities make him the easiest enemy to defeat.

Vulnerabilities

So, here’s what you need to know:

Critical spot: Pinwheel’s chest is the sweet spot you’re aiming for. Even one or two hits at the chest area will severely injure or even destroy him.

Damage types: This enemy isn’t as versatile as many others in the game and can only take damage through blunt and thrust attacks (using a sword, halberd, or similarly-styled weapons).

Boss Fight Tips

Pinwheel is found in Catacombs: Bonfire Floor, directly following the battle with Giant Crow. So, there you have it! For most players, this’ll be a pretty straightforward opponent.

Approach strategically: Get close by baiting Pinwheel closer or by running around a few times (he teleports).

Play his earthquakes to your favor: As mentioned earlier, these massive tremors force him to change positions randomly, creating small windows where he’s not attacking; strike when these windows happen!

Keep hitting and dodge, dodge, dodge!: Keep pumping that chest while dodging the few swings he delivers (don’t worry too much about avoiding the stomp attack – it barely scratches you anyway).

There’s a significant difference, I think it’s obvious why I have chosen. And in Dark Souls universe where you should be as clever as ever, not necessarily because I’m less knowledgeable or any other stupid.
