Dunkleosteus (meaning "Dark Shield Fossil Tooth" in scientific terms) was a formidable aquatic omnivore that lived around 450-420 million years ago, during the Devonian Period. Its name will immediately recall a crucial design aspect of Dracovish – its incredible crushing jaws. What are crushing jaws, exactly?
