What to Do in the Mermaid Show Stardew Valley

Join the Mermaid Boat
Access: To join the Mermaid Boat, you’ll need to have already unlocked Willy’s boat, and have a ticket to Mermaid Island which costs 200g.
- Note: Unfortunately, spouses, children, and farm animals cannot be moved to the island.
The Mermaid Show Performance
• Duration: The Mermaid Show performance lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes. You can leave the boat anytime, but leaving will restart the show.
- Musical Notes: After the show, you can click clam shells inside the boat to play musical notes. Playing the correct sequence of notes will award you with a special item.
The Pearl of Mermaid Island
• Loot: Only one Mermaid Pearl can be obtained per player per save file. Its price is 2500g, but it isn’t used in any bundles or quests. You can, however, use it in the sewing machine to craft a bridal veil.
- Fishing: Remember that Mermaid Pearl are not fish, and cannot be reeled in.
Ginger Island Mermaid
• Small Island: Mermaid Island is a small island between Pelican Town and the Fern Islands. You can access it after repairing the farmhouse, purchasing the mailbox, and unlocking the beach resort. However, building a Farm Obelisk next to the farmhouse will require easy travel back to the mainland.
- Company: Although spouses, children, and farm animals cannot move to the island, other familiar faces will keep you company while you’re away from Pelican Town.
Midnight Squid
• Fishing: Squid Ink can be obtained by using Midnight Squid in a Fish Pond. They multiply every 3 days, and the capacity can be increased to 10 fish by completing three quests.
- Initial Pond Capacity: The initial capacity for a fish pond is 3.
Secret Notes and Rewards
• Sequence: By clicking clam shells, play a sequence of notes in the correct sequence, such as 1-5-4-2-3, to receive a special reward.
