When Can You Play Online in Forza?
If you’re an avid player of the Forza Motorsport series, you may be wondering when you can start playing online with other players. Well, look no further! In this article, we’ll discuss the different options for online play in Forza, and when you can access them.
Once you’ve completed a few races
Once you’ve finished your first few races and gained some experience, you’ll unlock the Online Tab. From here, you can access various multiplayer modes, including Ranked and Unranked PvP racing, Solo Play with AI opponents, and even create your own custom Sessions with friends.
Challenges and Convoy
However, to take part in these online features, you’ll need to form a Convoy first. A Convoy is a group of players, and as the leader or a member of a convoy, you’ll have access to the online modes mentioned earlier. You can also send challenge invitations to your friends who are not in your current Convoy, or join friends’ Convoys with ease.
When Online Play is Possible
Table: Online Play Availability:
| Event | Online Availability | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Racedrops | Yes, after reaching a certain reputation level. | Requires online connection, allows for in-game reputation progression. |
| Drag and Drift | No | Limited to offline multiplay. |
| Freeride | Yes | Online and offline modes; can be played with online or offline players. |
As you can see in the table, some Racedrops event can be played online as soon as you reach a certain reputation level. Also, Freeride mode has both offline and online variants, depending on your choice.
