Where is the Electrical Part in Resident Evil 2: Claire’s Playthrough
In Resident Evil 2, Claire Redfield takes center stage as she battles against the sinister Umbrella Corporation. As players journey through the game, they will encounter various puzzles, items, and keys needed to progress. One item that may seem elusive at first is the electrical part, crucial for solving one of the game’s notable puzzles. In this article, we will explore how to obtain the electrical part in Claire’s playthrough.
Getting the Boxed Electronic Part
One of the first steps is to find the Boxed Electronic Part, which players can acquire by heading south of the East Storage Room. This area can be accessed with the Heart Key, a key-item exclusive to Claire’s route. With the Heart Key, players can open a small room containing the item. Upon inspecting it, the side will be opened, revealing the electrical part.
Inspect and Examine
When searching the item, make sure to examine it in your inventory as this will reveal the truth about the electrical part being a Rook Plug (Key Item) in disguise. This R&D material will come in handy later on.
Leon’s Scenario
For some players, they might initially assume the electrical part should be obtained through Leon’s playthrough. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The Club Key (found in Leon’s scene) and the Heart Key (exclusive to Claire’s playthrough) serve two distinct purposes. To fully progress through the game with Claire, the electrical part must be obtained as above.
Workroom Gate and Chemical Flamethrower
As an addition, some players may look for the flamethrower, a weapon locked behind a gate in Leon’s scene. However, this weapon is also exclusive to Leon’s scene, meaning Claire will never be able to access the flamethrower as it is part of their distinct story path.
Key Items and Access: A Quick Reference
