This manipulation tactic aided him in forming intricate agendas, solidifying ties at the highest echelons.

In hindsight, the phrase [‘Whispered One]’ symbolized both intrigue and menace as many associated it with whispers being forged in the dead man – Vecna, making listeners believe that secrets might lead to their doom while at the same time knowing true power. Creating Vecna for their character, Critical Role took immense inspiration from ancient works found in Dungeons & Dragons "Greyhawk Setting Materials" published for reference.
