Why did Urza Betray Dominaria?

Background and Personality

Urza’s tumultuous relationship with his brother, Mishra, was a crucial factor in his decision. Born with a spark within him, Urza demonstrated a natural aptitude for magic since a tender age. This distinction fueled jealousy and resentment from his brother, causing a rift in their once-siblingly relationship.

Urza’s Grievances against Mishra

Many have surmised that Urza abandoned Dominaria to unite with Kayla bin-Kroog (a planeswalker with telepathic abilities). Urza raised Harbin (or Tatar, as he claimed), another Planeswalker in whom some believed he deposited a suspicious part of his Planeswalker essence, rendering questions about his paternity and even Harbin’s being Urza’s son or at least part of his being difficult to explain.

This alleged abandonment sparked fierce debates and mistrust amongst the Planeswalker Community. Did Harbin indeed truly share ties with Urza? In light of current revelations concerns of treachery within are rising still.

Conclusion of Events on Dominaria

Meanwhile, as turmoil spread across Tolaria (and even led a portion of it down), on Dominaria too Karn took place within various realms and moments before joining Talarian Empire, while facing time within a realm during events such as the Invasion. To clarify time changes here made him leave home with memories from another universe (reality), Tolarian events that ultimately had occurred during a few decades time period after The New Phyrexia Invading world, time-rift issues with other Tolaria timeline and so many various places the journey led towards various actions.
