Why did Visenna Leave Geralt?

Visenna’s unexpected departure from Geralt of Rivia’s life still leaves many fans wondering, and the answer may remain shrouded in mystery. However, there is a wealth of information regarding Visenna’s motives behind leaving Geralt that hints at a complex, traumatic, and ultimately sacrificial decision.

Option: Geralt was a "Child of Surprise"
One theory suggests that Geralt was indeed born as a "Child of Surprise", resulting in his unique abilities as the White Wolf. If accurate, this would make Korin, Geralt’s father, a vessel meant to carry the energies or essences of these spirits. Visenna may have left Geralt for numerous reasons, including being struggling with bringing them harm’s weight, or fearing harm.

Yenfer’s own blood made Geralt a potentially unbalanced force capable not only of healing magic by using the power as ‘healing’ of itself. Visenna did choose to leave Geralt possibly foreseeing the potential struggle from his destiny. There’d be no way the Conjunction of the Spheres could have been possible so easily. Visenna is the one who trained this power in Geralt first.

Visenna Hoped Geralt Might Keep Himself Safe
